Real Estate
The Real Estate page (linked in the header) records the land and buildings the party owns. There are two kinds:
a parcel is a piece of land;
a building is a structure, which may stand on a parcel or stand on its own (a town house on somebody else’s street, say).
Deleting a parcel does not demolish the buildings on it; they stay recorded, no longer attached to any land.
Ownership
A parcel/building is owned by characters, not by players. Ownership is a plain set: a mill can belong to one character, or to three of them jointly, and there are no shares or percentages. Owning through a character is what lets a player who runs two characters keep their holdings separate.
Whoever plays an owning character can edit it: its name and notes, which parcel a building stands on, and the owner list itself. Everyone else can look but not touch.
A character who dies or retires keeps their holdings. Marking a character inactive does not remove them from any owner list, so it stays editable by the rest of its owners; hand it over deliberately, by adding and removing owners, rather than leaving it to a default.
Recording a Parcel/Building
At the bottom of the Real Estate page, name the parcel/building and choose which of your characters owns it. A building can be placed on an existing parcel at the same time, or attached later from its own page. You must have a character before you can record one, because the first owner has to be one of yours.
The Parcel/Building Page
Click a parcel/building’s name to open its page. It lists the owners (with the player behind each), the parcel a building stands on, and the buildings standing on a parcel.
Owners see an Edit form for the name and notes, an Add Owner control that offers every character in the campaign, a Remove button beside each owner, and a Delete button. A parcel/building must keep at least one owner, so the last owner’s Remove button is not offered. You may remove your own last character from a parcel/building you co-own; that is how it changes hands, and the remaining owners can always add you back.
Leaving Items at a Parcel/Building
Each row of a character’s inventory has a Location dropdown. Choose a parcel/building there and the item is left there: it stops counting toward the character’s encumbrance, and it appears under Kept Here on its page, grouped with its owner’s other items. A container takes its contents with it.
The item still belongs to the character. Ownership of the stuff and ownership of the place are separate facts, so a strongbox in a jointly held cellar remains one character’s strongbox, and only that character’s player can move it again. Any parcel/building in the campaign can be chosen, not only ones the character owns.
If a parcel/building is deleted, the items kept there are not lost: they become Stashed elsewhere, still not carried, until their owners say where they went.
